Guam ACTE was well represented at the Premier Event of the year for Career & Technical Education: VISION2022, ACTE Conference in Las Vegas, NV.
An unprecedented number of almost 50 Career & Technical Educators from Guam / Western Pacific attended VISION2022.
Pacific Islanders joined by over 6,000 attendees from across the United States.
Our GuACTE members attended important training sessions and workshops, and enjoyed the incredible exhibit of industry training resources and networking opportunities.
Some feedback included their appreciation for:
- "The diversity of sessions to choose from"
- "The willingness of fellow CTE educators to help us new to CTE"
- "The Ability to compare and contrast our practices"
- "The Intellectual stimulation"
- "A better understanding of the importance of moving theoretical concepts to hands-on specific learning strategies"
