Meet Cindy Paulino, Roaming Operations Officer at IT&E. Cindy focused on a career in telecommunications, and became a Telecommunication Apprentice at IT&E in 2016. After completing her apprenticeship, she received her Journeyman Certificate from the U.S. Department of Labor. Cindy also transitioned to the GCC Computer Networking program and graduated in 2020 with her A.S. degree.
Her career journey continues, as she aspires to be a teacher in Career & Technical Education, joining the first cohort of students in the GCC's Bachelor of Science in Career and Technical Education program -- the region's first four-year CTE educators' preparation program.
Cindy shares: “I am in this program to merge the existing telecommunication skills that I have with the pedagogical skills I will acquire to create better opportunities for myself, my family, and the people of Guam.”
